George Anderson is a contemporary artist specializing in
marine and abstract paintings. Anderson is best known for
his
Gloucester
Waterfront series
in which he conveys the
lives of hardworking New England fishermen in bright
colors and abstract shapes.
Anderson has a studio and gallery in Rockport, as well as
Portland, Maine and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. His
paintings are owned by collectors in all 50 US states,
Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia. You can see recent

Each year Anderson creates a print from one of his recent
paintings. The prints are available unframed or dry
mounted on a sturdy black plaque with ¾ inch beveled
edges. The first step of the dry mounting process
permanently bonds the print to the plaque so it will never
wrinkle or warp. The second step applies a durable matte
finish to protect against fading from sunlight, as well as
from moisture and dirt.
